Description: Alteration and Refurbishment
HLF project for alteration and refurbishment works at the G2 Listed building which was built in 1862 for Queen Victoria’s visits to Knowle House.
Bat and Ball is a working railway station and the project transformed the derelict building into venue space for local business, provide a platform café selling local produce and a ticket office.
Works include replacing Victorian panelling, glazed brick tiling, floor restoration along with modern kitchen and services.
