Client: Hadlow Manor Hotel
Programme: 13 weeks
Description:Remodelling and Refurbishment
A phased project within a fully operational hotel, a Grade II listed Georgian manor house, to upgrade and modernise all common areas and function facilities.
Lengard worked in consultation with the hotel’s management to formulate a programme which enabled business to continue with minimum disruption, working around key dates and bookings.
Work included a new corridor link extension to join the catering kitchen to the main dining room, a new main reception area created with an accessible counter as well as DDA compliant doors, ramps and visual contrasts. Several upgrades were carried out to key mechanical and electrical services, as well as passive fire safety measures.
Externally, a new veranda was formed in a style to match the existing building’s era and the lawn area levelled to facilitate the use of marquees for ceremonies and functions.
