Lengard and the London Borough of Bromley are working together to construct the new cafe in Crystal Palace Park
The works involve the demolition of the existing cafe building and the construction of the new cafe building which is part of a wider regeneration of the park.
The new building has been designed to take on the shape of a dinosaur with a tall chimney to represent the long neck and the “body” of the building covered with timber shingles which depict the scales of the beast. This exciting design takes its inspiration from the dinosaur sculptures that already exist within the park.
It was Lengard’s reputation as an established Building Contractor who regularly undertakes works to public buildings that assisted in securing this interesting project.
