Lengard have been awarded the project to expand Jessop Primary School, Herne Hill, in the London Borough of Lambeth.

The works to Jessop involve the remodelling of three classrooms and extensions to the existing three storey primary school and includes:

  • New sedum roofed single Storey extension accommodating a new main entrance, administration hub and pupil’s entrance.
  • New flat roofed three -storey corner block extension with conference and interview rooms and accessible WC at ground floor and classrooms at first & second floor.
  • New flat roofed three-storey infill block extension containing classrooms on each floor and associated external landscaping works including boundary treatment, entrance areas and playground.

    • Lengard are working with a specialist company to install solar panels onto the school roof in coordination with our works programme which will be included in the BREEAM education score for this project.

    The project is valued at £1.7m and the duration of the project is 44 weeks.
