Helping people grow is a huge part of our culture. Lengard is committed to developing a workforce that continuously strives to improve the quality of services it provides and identifies how to keep up to date personally and professionally.
We aim to develop a "learning organisational culture" and incorporate new and innovative ideas in order to develop improved ways of working. We seek to do this by utilising the talents, skills and experience of our workforce and encourage employees to seek out learning and development opportunities as part of their continuous professional development.
Lengard recognises and values the importance of quality training; Jeni Williams, our Personnel Officer, is responsible for ensuring that each employee´s training needs are identified and incorporated into the company´s annual training plan. Individual records are kept electronically for all employees detailing education, qualifications, experience, skills and training undertaken.

Lengard are accredited to Investors In People and we take a genuine interest in peoples personal and professional development and provide them with the right skills, knowledge and motivation to work efficiently.
This means Lengard:
- Regularly review the training and development needs of all employees
- Takes action to train and develop all employees on recruitment and throughout their employment
- Evaluates the investment on training and development to assess achievement and improve future effectiveness
- Maintains a culture of continuous improvement
