Project Description

Introduction:Lengard were appointed, on a Design & Build basis, to create a new extension to Croft Gym; however, limited ground space meant the only viable option was to build on top of the original building with the erection of a steel-framed structure.

The Challenge:

Time was of the essence with this job as Hendon was to host the Metropolitan Police’s 175th anniversary celebrations. 

How Lengard Overcame:

In addition to the extension, installation of a new lift and the construction of a new staircase was carried out, Excellent planning and teamwork not only saw this major project brought in on time, but we were able to ensure the gym remained fully operational throughout the contract.
