Lengard receive 5 stars for low carbon emissions

Lengard were awarded a five star rating for low carbon emissions and continuing carbon reductions throughout 2011.
Companies are under increasing pressure from clients, government and other regulatory bodies to set standards of environmental performance and disclose the environmental impacts of their operations. The award of five stars, the highest rating available, was presented by the Environmental Registration Company, Trucost Plc.
The rating calculates greenhouse gases, through gas heating and CO2 vehicle emissions, the electricity used by the entire operation, and the company’s supply chain. The figures are weighted by the associated environmental cost of Lengard’s supply chain and expressed as a percentage of the total cost.
This is another significant achievement for Lengard that demonstrates the company’s credentials as a sustainable and forward thinking construction company.
